Travel to Greece by Train

Travel by train is an inexpensive option to get around Greece, but the national rail system (OSE) is extremely limited. Athens has two main railway stations, Larissa and Peloponissos.
To travel to North Greece, Evia and Europe, one can get trains from Larissa, and to travel to Peloponnese, train can be taken from Peloponissos.
The tickets for travel in Greece and train information are available at the Hellenic Railways Organization.
The main hub for international rail service in Greece is Thessaloniki.
Thessaloniki is connected by trains with many European countries: Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, Turkey and others.
